Found another couple

Welcome Ron & Penny Huelat(Huelat Packers) who live in Tualatin, OR( just south of Portland). Haven't met them but found a cache in their front yard back in 2008 when we were out that way after attending GW 6 in Sacramento. Unfortunately they were out of town when we tried to "visit" them. Had e-mailed them and asked them to join our group but they forgot about it. Now I have "bugged" them again and they happily become our newest members. Official membership cards are in the mail to them as we speak. Hopefully they will post a post on here and tell us about themselves.

It's Official(?)-maybe or maybe not

I THINK I got a count of how many OBW(?)'s were at GW 8. Would you believe I went thru all the posts from the event (over 1000) to get the names. As far as I can see, there were 39 in attendance. That doesn't count any new folks that might have been enlisted. I don't recognize the guy without a hat in the picture below and the couple to the right of Charlotte(Hikers2). Hopefully someone will give me their names.
Here's the list I came up with:
Hikers2
Old Hippy & Granny
Ahuimanu Hui
Team Snook
Hobos
Mr. Pattytracker
2 rusty whalers
Steve 'n Nancy
Mountain_Wanderer
Joensue
Grandfolks
Mrs. Ice Cream Man
2 Hillbillies
2GeoHounds
Tammo(from Germany)
Rock 'n Crystal
Look'n Good
Sailorscodgers
Geofogies
Bob from S & BC

Now my numbers only come up to 35 but that's still a great showing.

Let's see how many can make it to Warren, PA next Jlu for GW 9.

GeoWoodstock 8 in Seattle

Thanks to Hikers2 for arranging the group picture while out there. Haven't come up with a total yet but I know there were over 20 OBW(?)'s attending. Thanks to Lookin'Good for the pictures that they have posted and hopefully there will be some more. GW9 will be in Warren, PA next 4th of July so put it on your calendar and we'll see how many we can meet up with there.

150 and counting

We added a new couple to our ranks this week to put us over 150 and strong. Please welcome Bob & Suzanne Paganelli who posted they would be attending GW9 next July in Warren, PA. They fulltime in their motorhome and are presently out in Oregon but will be spending this winter in FL. They have a cute caching name: Rvn4Caches or as he put it-
Keybird22(her) + Blackdragon2458(him) = Rvn4Caches
Hopefully they will give us a little bio here on the site.

OBW members @ GW8 Seattle

Thanks to the efforts of Charlotte & Richard (Hikers2), the OBW group met for a picture on July 3 at GeoWoodstock8 in Seattle, WA. We all shared stories of how we met Sharon & Joe, then gathered at the entrance for a group picture. Wish I knew everyone's names but they are lost somewhere on a piece of paper!!! Ahuimanu Hui are in yellow shirts (far right), Hikers2 next to them, and Lookin'Good in red shirts in the back. Perhaps the others will identify themselves. Hope to see everyone at GW9 in PA next year!
